Very well written article, and precisely mirrors my own thoughts of companies, and particularly boards of companies, rushing to send all of their corporate IT “to the cloud”. There is a massive lesson here; alas, it may not be learnt until more cloud service providers go the way of 2e2.

UK Systems Integrator 2E2 placed into Administration

It’s certainly not a Happy New Year for the employees of UK Systems Integrator 2E2 who were yesterday placed into Administration after the company breached bank covenants servicing its high levels of debt. Up to 2000 jobs are at risk.

Not great news for Barracuda here:

A variety of networking and security appliances from Barracuda Networks contain backdoor accounts that could allow attackers to log in remotely over SSH (Secure Shell) and gain administrative, or root, access on the devices.
