Nice Systems Reportedly In Talks To Buy Verint For $1.5B

 

Nice Systems is in talks to buy rival Verint for $1.5 billion in cash and stock, the Israel-based business newspaper the Cacalist reported, according to Reuters. The deal would combine two companies in the security and analytics software market. Nice is based in Israel; Verint’s HQ is Melville, New York.

If this goes through, then Nice will have taken a huge slice of the Call Recording market, following their acquisition of Cybertech a couple of years ago.
